Adventurous canyoning in a forested gorge in the Artogna Valley

Imagine rappelling down a waterfall. Nothing could be more adventurous!

Turn this captivating fantasy into reality by taking part in a canyoning tour in Valle Artogna: in the company of a certified guide, you will face a route dotted with rocky slides, rope descents and natural pools in which to plunge.

Anexperience of over 2 hours, challenging the waters of the Artogna torrent in an unspoilt natural setting!

What we will do

The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Campertogno (VC). We will be welcomed by the certified canyoning guide who will accompany us on this adventure!

Once all the participants have gathered, the guide will hand over thetechnical equipment and we will proceed with dressing in the special changing rooms. We will then board a minibus to reach the access point to unspoilt natural scenery in a few minutes. We will then continue on foot, walking for about 35 minutes through a wooded setting usually traversed during transhumance to reach the mountain pastures.

And here we come to a wooded gorge crossed by the Artogna stream: here anintroduction will take place during which the guide will provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience. We will then be ready to venture along the route, tackling natural slides, rope descents (maximum height 10 metres) and dives into natural pools (maximum height 4 metres). The real highlight will be a 10-metre rope descent from a scenic ponytail waterfall, behind which we will pass! The dives are not compulsory except for one from a height of 1.5 metres and we will be constantly supported by the guide.

After crossing the finish line, we will walk downhill for about ten minutes before boarding the minibus and returning to the nearby meeting point. The canyoning route will last 2 ½ hours; the total experience will last 4 ½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for ages 13 and up; minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to sign the authorisation on site. Family package promotion: minors participating in the activity in the company of at least one parent are entitled to the reduced "Minors accompanied by a parent" rate of €55.00; the promotion is not valid for minors accompanied by relatives of another degree.

To participate in the activity, it is necessary to know how to swim.

The experience is not recommended for those suffering from vertigo.

The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first canyoning experience for sporty people.

Other information

The experience takes place from July to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants. The participation of 1 guide for every 10 participants is expected.

Theduration of the activity may vary depending on the number and progression of participants along the route.

Neoprene shoes are sufficient to participate in the activity, but for those who prefer technical footwear, technical shoes can be hired on site at a cost of €5.00 per person.

On site there are changing rooms equipped with toilets and showers; any personal items will be left in custody at the meeting point. There is also a bar-restaurant on site.

Digital photos and videos of the experience can be purchased on site at a cost of €5.00 per person.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
