Dive into the splendid natural pools of Bau Mela and discover a corner of unspoilt nature hidden in theAlta Ogliastra mountains at the foot of the Gennargentu.
Enjoy an easy canyoning route suitable for everyone, together with a professional guide who will take care of your safety as you navigate your way through dives, slides, waterfalls, rocky gorges and abseiling.

What we will do
We will meet the guide at Villagrande Strisaili (NU). Having formed the group and handed over thenecessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet and harness), we will approach the entrance to the canyon with a 10-minute walk.
At that point, we will meet the waters of the Bau Mela torrent, which has its source on the Gennargentu and descends along the slopes, carving out rocky gorges that in this locality take the form of marvellous natural pools ofcrystal-clear water.
The canyoning route will be aplayful adventure, in which we will have fun in a real natural aquapark, sliding on the rocks smoothed by the water and making dives and rope descents. Of these, the longest will be 15 metres, but no problem because the guide will assist us at all times.
In total, the activity will last two and a half hours, including preparation, approach and return (always a 10-minute walk).
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 12 years of age. No specific requirements are required, other than being in good health and having a minimum of agility and predisposition for physical activity.
Other information
This activity is feasible from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants, subject to weather conditions and the guide's availability.
Private groups of at least 4 persons may also request to carry out the activity on days other than those indicated in the calendar.
Depending on the abilities of the participants, the total duration of the activity may change and extend up to a maximum of 4 hours.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
