Full description
Embark on anadventure of fun, nature and excitement with one of the most beautiful canyoning routes inUmbria, the one that will take you to explore the Forra del Casco, a spectacular place hidden among the winding hills of the Valnerina valley.
You will move through rocky gorges formed by the erosion of water flow, in an unspoilt and highly suggestive natural environment. With the aidof ropes you will reach normally inaccessible points and, thanks to the support of an expert guide, you will carry out the activity in complete safety.
The Forra del Casco canyoning route is an exciting succession of waterfalls, rock walls, and passages in deep, narrow gorges. And you can't miss the fun toboggans, the natural slides on which you can let yourself be carried away by the current.
What we will do
We will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Ceselli (PG). After introductions and handing over thenecessary equipment, we will set off on a trekking route that will take us to the entrance of the Forra del Casco canyon in 30/40 minutes.
Before we begin, we will have a briefing on the safety rules and progression techniques we will use along the route, and then it's off to adventure! The first part of the canyoning route will take place in an enclosed rocky environment, with narrow and deep gorges, and then we will come out onto the splendid 30-metre waterfall, which we will abseil down by rope. It will be an incredible thrill
From this point, the course of the torrent becomes broader but no less exciting. We will continue in the cool, clear waters of the torrent between slides, waterfalls and rock walls. In all, there will be 10 rope descents, two of which will be a good 30 metres!
Considering the preparation and travel time, the total duration of the activity will be about 5 hours, of which about 3.5 will be needed to complete the canyoning route. At the end of the excursion, we will return to the cars, walking for about 10 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level, also suitable for beginners. Good physical condition and vertigo tolerance are required. Participation is possible from 14 years of age.
Other information
Important! The activity can be carried out from April to October, subject to the availability of guides, and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 4 participants. Pre-established groups of at least 4 people can book the activity on any date. If you are alone or do not reach the minimum number of participants, write to us to find out which dates have already been confirmed.
Showers and changing rooms are not available at the end of the activity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
