A thrilling canyoning route in the Rio Selvano, among pure waters, centuries-old rocks, vertiginous dives, natural slides and rope descents, is ideal for all adventurous spirits!
Come and discover a beautiful and hidden corner of Tuscany by trying your hand at anexciting and fun activity, to be performed in total safety accompanied by an expert guide.
If you are a nature and adventure lover, if you like challenges and want to get involved, you are in the right place even if you have no experience in canyoning. If, on the other hand, you are new to the activity, this route is the most complete and fun in Tuscany: we are sure it won't disappoint!
We will take care of everything you need, you just need to put all the enthusiasm you have into it!
What we will do
The meeting point is in Fabbriche di Vallico, in the province of Lucca. Here we will meet the guide who will provide us with thenecessary equipment and then we will move by car until we reach, in a few minutes, the entry point to the canyon. Before we begin, we will have a briefing to learn the rules for moving around in the water and the most appropriate behaviour to carry out the activity safely.
Welcoming us at the start of the canyon will be a fun slide with a dip in a beautiful natural pool. Along the way, we will encounter several natural slides - called toboga - carved by the flow of water over the rocks, we will face dives from different heights (from 1 to 7 metres), and at some points we will abseil with a rope. In any case, there will always be a way around the obstacle, so that even the most 'wimpy' will be able to enjoy the experience in total safety.
At the end of the route we will all return together to the base where we will leave our equipment and change. The activity lasts a total of 4 hours, 3 of which are spent canyoning.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to anyone with a minimum of physical endurance and familiarity with water. The minimum age is 8 years. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
Other information
The base is not equipped with changing rooms for showers, but you can leave your belongings in a closed, safe place.
The activity can be booked from April to October and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, which could cause the water level to rise dramatically, the activity will be suspended. You will promptly receive a communication from the organiser.
Recommended clothing
Swimsuit to be worn under a wetsuit and sturdy sports shoes (sandals, five-fingers and smooth-running shoes are not allowed)

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
