Enjoy close contact with nature and discover the thrills of an exciting sport such as canyoning, which will take you to explore the Fosso dell'Etrica, in the heart of the Valnerina in Umbria.
This route is ideal for a first canyoning experience because it will allow you to try out the fundamental elements of the discipline without encountering any particular technical difficulties.
So what are you waiting for? Rely on our expert guides and get ready to walk through the gorges and abseil down the waterfalls for a wonderful adventure between water and rock!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is a rafting centre in Terni. There we will meet the guides, receive thenecessary equipment, and then all together we will reach the starting point of the canyoning route.
After a briefing on progression techniques and safety rules, we will enter the Fosso dell'Etrica, a rocky canyon carved out by the waters of a torrent. The route runs for several hundred metres in a pristine environment, between rock walls, waterfalls and vegetation.
We will walk between water corridors and face several rope descents, one of which is a good 20 metres long. The guides will always be at our side to describe the characteristics of the place and to help us overcome the most inaccessible points, if we need them.
In total, the activity will last about 2.5 hours and will end with the return to the rafting centre where we will be able to use the showers and changing rooms.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open from 11 years of age. No previous experience is required.
Other information
This activity can be carried out on weekends from April to September, subject to the availability of guides and the river's hydrometric conditions.
