Full description
Live a canyoning experience together with your children at the Rio Nero stream, in the picturesque natural landscape of Valle di Ledro. An experienced Alpine Guide will accompany you on the approx. 3-hour route, ideal as a first experience.
You will experience the adrenalin rush of canyoning, performing 4-metre jumps (optional), abseils of a maximum of 10 metres and toboggans, natural slides that flow into clear pools of water. All rappels, slides and jumps are child-friendly. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting is in Arco (TN), where the Alpine Guides will be waiting for us. We will give a short briefing on the activity and put on a wetsuit, helmet, footwear and harness (included) with which to tackle the Rio Nero.
Once we are ready, we will walk for about 15 minutes to reach the stream's entry point. We will become familiar with the clear water that has been smoothing the rocks for centuries, forming clear lakes and enchanting gorges. We will also try out abseiling and jumping techniques that will enable us to tackle the jumps, water slides and waterfalls in the right way.
All the jumps and slides are child-friendly with a maximum drop of 10 metres, alternating with pools of water resembling small natural pools. The jumps, on the other hand, are a maximum of 4 metres high and are all optional.
During the 3-hour walk, we will be enchanted by the surrounding wilderness and mountain scenery. The guides will lend us their experience so that we can enjoy the adventure safely, without detracting from the adrenalin rush of the activity.
The canyoning experience lasts a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. Children under the age of 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
To participate, you must weigh between 30 kg and 120 kg and be at least 135 cm tall.
No previous experience is required, but you must be in good physical shape to cope with about 20-30 minutes of approaching the river with a wetsuit on. In addition, being comfortable with water and not being afraid of heights and enclosed spaces is required .
Anyone suffering from heart or respiratory problems, or other conditions and illnesses that could be aggravated by physical exertion or contact with cold water should consult a doctor before participating.
Other information
The excursion runs from mid-June to August and will be confirmed once a minimum of 2 participants is reached.
It is possible to hire an Action Cam with SD card included (which will remain with you) at an extra price of €25, to be paid on site.
All equipment used for this activity is sanitised after each use and checked according to Safety First safety protocol. Shoe rental is included in the participation fee. If you wear a shoe size other than EU 36-48, you can participate with simple trainers (remember that they will get wet! ).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
