Full description
For those with an adventurous spirit and a desire to experience an outdoor activity unlike any other, family canyoning is the right experience to have.
In a rather simple route, suitable for the whole family, you will cross one of the four gorges of Val Maor, immersed in a suggestive, wild and enchanting landscape dominated by compact limestone rocks, torrents and rich vegetation.
Between jumps, natural slides and rope descents, the beauty of the environment will leave you breathless!
What we will do
The meeting is in Mel, in the province of Belluno. As your guide, I will give you a short briefing where I will explain the route we are going to take, also explaining how to move around safely. I will give you the necessary equipment, including a complete harness with longes, karabiners and descender, and show you how to use it.
We will walk to the starting point of the route. The route does not present any technical difficulties, making it quite simple and accessible. You will be able to try your hand at jumps (never compulsory and of a maximum height of 4 metres), two rope descents (to a maximum height of 10 metres) and some very fun natural slides. You will also be able to get around obstacles if you don't feel like tackling them.
Val Maor is rich in compact sedimentary rocks and clear water streams. It is an evocative and mysterious environment that will fascinate you in every detail.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk out of the canyon, after which a van will take us back to the meeting point in 10 minutes.
The experience lasts a total of three hours, including briefing and transfer.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all those with good motor skills and aquatics and who do not suffer from claustrophobia.
Theminimum age required to participate is 8 years.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult, while 15 to 18-year-olds can participate alone with a parent's release.
Other information
The activity is available from May to mid-November, every day, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
It is possible to rent canyoning shoes at an extra cost of 10€: ask the organisers after the booking confirmation.
Photos are taken during the activity and will be sent to participants by phone or email.
Showers with cold water are available at the meeting point.

The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
