Full description
Ready to slip into the wild heart of Umbria? The Forra del Casco is not a place you can visit by walking: here you can only enter by abseiling, sliding between smooth rocks and facing passages that will make you feel like a real explorer.
For four hours you will be inside a hidden gorge, among pools of water, jumps and descents, until you reach her: a 28-metre waterfall that will make you realise what the "wow" effect really is.
If you are looking for an experience that combines adventure and nature in a unique mix, this is your chance to experience it to the full!
What we will do
The meeting point is 10 minutes before 09:30 a.m. at the meeting point that the guide will inform you of in Scheggino (PG). On arrival, we will be provided with all the necessary technical equipment (included in the fee).
Once ready, we will trek for about 30 minutes to reach the mouth of the Forra del Casco. Here, after a briefing in which the basics of canyoning will be explained to us, we will put on our wetsuits and the rest of the equipment to start with the actual activity.
We will move along a vertical route, characterised by a series of impressive rope descents. The most beautiful descent will be down a 28-metre high waterfall, a spectacle that will leave us breathless. Certified guides will accompany us along the entire route to teach us canyoning progression techniques and ensure maximum safety.
The canyoning route will last 4 hours. The return to the meeting point is scheduled for 16:00, for a total duration of the experience of approximately 6 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of medium difficulty, suitable for those with some previous canyoning experience. The minimum age to participate is 14.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October on the dates indicated on the calendar and will be confirmed on reaching a minimum of 9 participants.
*The excursion can be carried out in the company of an ENGC Canyoning Guide - Canyoning Master - or ENGC Canyoning Accompanying Person (professionals in accordance with Law 4/2013).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
