Get ready for a unique experience with us, with Canyoning on the Mondelli, in Piedmont in the province of Verbania, one of Europe's best known and most popular torrents. A place of international interest, a true natural aquapark, in a wonderful alpine setting, at the foot of Monte Rosa.
Practising Canyoning, in addition to the fun and adrenaline experienced with the dives, slides and abseiling on the side of the waterfall, also means being able to discover hidden natural treasures, which could not be visited in any other way.
Our certified and highly-trained guides will accompany you on this fantastic experience, teaching you the basic techniques of canyoning, such as the use of a descender to abseil safely and independently on a rope.
What we will do
The meeting point will be at Ceppo Morelli. From there, we will continue on to Mondelli, a journey of approximately 10 minutes by car.
Once on site, the dressing-down and handover of the technical equipment (provided by the guide) will follow. After a pleasant walk in a spectacular alpine setting of about 20 minutes, we will reach the entrance to the stream. Before the actual activity begins, a full briefing on the activity will be given with dry rope rappelling and descender practice.
The course is a true natural water park, characterised by an endless series of toboggans, natural slides carved out bywater erosion. One descends on a rope alongside waterfalls, the highest of which is 35 metres, and there are many dives into green and crystal-clear pools of up to 10 metres, exciting but never obligatory (it is always possible to circumvent the most challenging obstacles).
The natural setting where the torrent flows is nothing short of marvellous: the Mondelli is recognised as canyoning of international interest.
The exit of the stream is about a 5-minute walk from the car park.
The total duration of the water course is about 2 hours, to which one must add at least another hour, including dressing, briefing and approach.
Who it is aimed at
This route is suitable for those who have already tried canyoning at least once.
Theminimum age for participation is 14 years.
The natural environment in which the route takes place requires participants to have good aquatic skills, not be afraid of heights, not suffer from vertigo and generally be in good health and in good physical condition.

The guide will assess the weather and water conditions on a case-by-case basis to ensure the activity is carried out in complete safety and reserves the right to postpone and/or cancel it.
The activity is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 3 participants.
