Palvico Canyoning in the Ledro Valley in Trentino

Get ready for a breathtaking adventure with one of the most fascinating canyoning routes in Italy, in the heart of the Ledro Valley, a stone's throw from the Trentino shores of Lake Garda.

Together with UIAGM Alpine Guides specialised in canyoning, you'll follow the course of the Palvico torrent, plunging into crystal-clear pools, natural slides, small waterfalls, deep rocky gorges, and abseiling from vertical walls up to 50 m high!

Let yourself be swept away by the excitement and adrenaline of one of the most incredible water activities and discover, while having fun, a wild and unspoilt natural environment!

What we will do

We will meet at 13:00 in Arco (TN), where we will be picked up by the shuttle bus provided by the mountaineering school, which will take us to Passo Agola, the starting point of our adventure. There we will be given thenecessary equipment and meet the Alpine Guide who will take us on the excursion.

After donning a wetsuit, harness, helmet and life jacket, we will have a preparation briefing, during which the guide will inform us about the essential safety rules and progression techniques we will use on the canyoning route.

As soon as we are ready, we will enter the Palvico canyon, a fascinating torrent due to its conformation and the rocky structures present within it, a guarantee of guaranteed fun! We begin with a playful and fairly open first part, where we will walk between water and rock, making small jumps and getting used to theriver environment.

Then the route becomes progressively more challenging, until we reach the lower part where the stream flows between high walls, deep gorges and suggestive plays of light. The environment becomes more enclosed and vertiginous and we progress through several dives, slides and rope abseils.

At the end, anincredible surprise awaits us: after having crossed a cave, we will find a 50-metre waterfall in front of us, and we will flank it with a thrilling 'rappel'! But surprises and fun don't end here, because at the end of the tour we will be surprised again... but no spoilers!

Between transfers, preparation and excursion, the activity lasts a total of about 4 hours and ends with the return by shuttle bus to the initial meeting point.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an intermediate level and is open to everyone who is in good physical shape. It is not mandatory to have previous experience, but it is necessary not to be afraid of water, heights and enclosed spaces. You can participate from the age of 14 and up and with a body weight of at least 40 kg.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.

This activity can be booked from June to September on the days indicated in the calendar (constantly updated), subject to weather and hydrometric conditions.

It is possible to request the hire of an Action Cam with SD card included (which will remain with you) at an extra price of 20€, to be paid on site.

All equipment used for this activity is sanitised after each use and checked according to Safety First safety protocol.
