Full description
Canyoning in Val Senaiga is a demanding 4.5-hour route, suitable for those who love this discipline and are ready for an even more adrenalin-fuelled challenge than the previous ones, in a gorge that in some ways resembles a Latin American jungle.
It will be a journey of natural slides, dives and rappels from great heights of up to 60 metres. Many points will be water-smoothed corridors that allow no other escape routes: in short, every stretch of this experience will test your courage and physical prowess.

What we will do
The meeting point is the hamlet of Ponte Serra di Lamon, in the province of Belluno. To reach the gorge where our canyoning will take place, we will have to make a 20-minute van ride and then a 20-minute walk.
Once at our destination, as a guide, I will give an introductory briefing to explain the characteristics of the route and safety rules. After completing the dressing-down, we can begin our adventure.
I will lead you along a challenging route made up of numerous dives into deep circular pools and rope descents. We will also cross corridors formed by the erosive action of water and with no alternative route. The gorge will amaze us with its unique natural features, which make it more like a tropical jungle than a Dolomite landscape.
At the end we will come across a 70-metre-high vertical waterfall, known as the Salton Waterfall. The waterfall is equipped with a zipline that allows you to descend by evading the force of the water. Alternatively, if you are experienced enough, you can tackle a series of 3 challenging rope descents on the right hand side.
If none of these options seem within your reach, you can follow a convenient path down to the foot of the waterfall. Here you will still find a couple of toboggans (natural slides) and jumps to overcome.
A climb of about 20 minutes on foot and a short van transfer will bring you back to the meeting point.
The activity lasts a total of four and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at those who have good mobility and aquatics, are not afraid of heights or enclosed spaces, and have practised canyoning at least once.
The minimum age required to participate is 15 years. Minors may also participate on their own with a signed parental release.
Other information
The activity is available from June to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
Photos are taken during the activity and will be sent to participants by phone or email.
