Spider-Man’s favourite experience.
Join our canyoning trip in Balmuccia: accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll venture down the Sermenza stream , navigating natural slides, abseils and dives. A 3-hour experience, all about safety and fun for the whole family.
And in case you’re wondering, yes, Spider-Man can swim.
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Balmuccia (VC). Once there, we’ll meet the guide who’ll be taking us on this adventure!
On arrival, we’ll be given our equipment and get kitted out. We’ll then take part in a short briefing, during which the basic techniques and safety rules will be explained to ensure a worry-free experience.
We’ll then board the organiser’s shuttle bus to reach the starting point of the route. And that’s when the real adventure begins: we’ll descend the stream, tackling natural slides, abseils and dives from a minimum height of 1 metre and a maximum of 8 metres; the dives are optional and can be tailored to your desired level of adventure. Throughout the entire route, we’ll be accompanied by our guide, who’ll ensure our safety and enjoyment. We’ll spend around 2 hours in the water.
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point on the organiser’s shuttle bus. The experience lasts a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
The activity is easy and ideal for first-time canyoning.
Other information
The programme runs from July to September.
The dives are optional and can be adapted: children can jump from lower heights, whilst adults who wish to do so can attempt higher jumps. Each stage can be completed with the guide’s support.
On site, you can book a photo and video service for a fee or hire a GoPro to record a video of the experience for a fee. Contact the guide using the details provided in your booking confirmation email for further information and to book the service.
There is a green area on site equipped with a café, picnic tables, barbecues, a beach volleyball court and a five-a-side football pitch. There is also an area where you can pitch your own tent, complete with toilets and hot showers.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
