Full description
A canyoning activity for you who prefer to start with rope abseiling only, without diving.
This is the route of the Torrente Ania, in the most beautiful canyon in Tuscany: a unique natural spectacle, framed by a peculiar carved rock, which will be the backdrop for your rope descents from a maximum height of 12 m. And if you wish, you will also be able to try a 5 m high initial slide.
The torrent experience will last a total of 3 hours and we are sure that after this first time you will also want to experiment with diving!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 09:00 a.m. at the meeting point communicated at the time of booking, in Vergemoli (LU). Once you have arrived on site, I will provide you with thenecessary equipment, give you information on the characteristics of the canyon, and the behaviour to adopt during the activity.
In a swimming costume or shorts and carrying the equipment, we will then enter the forest to reach after about 40 minutes on foot the scenario of our excursion: the most beautiful canyon in Tuscany! All thanks to the Torrente Ania , which over time has carved out these gorges framed by a peculiar carved rock, giving us a unique natural spectacle.
The route features 6 abseiling ab seils from amaximum height of 12 m. There will be no dives but only one initial 5 m high non-compulsory chute . The fun never fails!
The torrent experience will last 3 hours. At the end we will walk back to the meeting point in 10 minutes, for 4 hours of activity in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 10. It is not necessary to know how to swim (life jacket on request) or to have previous experience; good health (no heart and/or respiratory diseases) is sufficient.
This experience requires physical commitment: if you are over 65 years of age , please contact the activity organiser at the contact details given in your booking email to check that you can do the activity.
Other information
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The experience is available from April to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 7 participants.
Please note that rings cannot be worn during the activity. If you wear glasses, you will have to tie them with a string; it is preferable to wear contact lenses.
Rock shoes or rock climbing shoes are not permitted. Hiking, running or classic trainers are permitted. Alternatively, you can hire suitable shoes on site at a cost of €10.
