Full description
A canyoning activity for those who prefer to start with rope descents only, without any jumps.
This is the Ania Stream route , in Tuscany’s most beautiful canyon: a unique natural spectacle, framed by distinctive, eroded rock formations, which will provide the backdrop for your abseils from a maximum height of 12 metres.
The canyoning experience will last a total of 3 hours, and we’re sure that after this first time, you’ll want to try the jumps too!
What we will do
I’ll be waiting for you at 09: 00 at the meeting point specified at the time of booking, in Vergemoli (LU). Once you arrive, I’ll provide you with the necessary equipment and give you information about the canyon’s features and the safety guidelines to follow during the activity.
Wearing swimwear or shorts and carrying our equipment, we’ll then head into the woods and, after a walk of about 40 minutes, reach the highlight of our excursion: the most beautiful canyon in Tuscany! All thanks to the Ania Stream, which over time has carved out these gorges framed by distinctive, eroded rock, offering us a unique natural spectacle.
The route features six compulsory abseils from a maximum height of 12 metres. There’s never a dull moment!
The canyoning experience will last 3 hours. At the end, we’ll walk back to the meeting point in 10 minutes, making for a total of 4 hours of activity.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 10 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
You do not need to know how to swim (life jackets available on request) or have any previous experience; you simply need to be in good health (no heart and/or respiratory conditions) .
This activity requires physical effort and is of intermediate difficulty: if you are over 65, please contact the activity organiser using the contact details provided in your booking email to check whether you are able to take part.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The experience is available from April to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 7 participants.
Please note that rings cannot be worn during the activity. If you wear glasses, you will have to tie them with a string; it is preferable to wear contact lenses.
Rock shoes or rock climbing shoes are not permitted. Hiking, running or classic trainers are permitted. Alternatively, you can hire suitable shoes on site at a cost of €10.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
