Venture into the middle of a river with canyoning, a unique activity where you can descend a torrent without the aid of boats, but directly on foot and only with the help of ropes.
What we are proposing is an exceptional, complete, and highly varied route that presents a taste of all the obstacles that can be encountered in canyoning in Piedmont.
Toboggans, dives, abseiling on ropes and zip lines, a perfect mix of techniques in a low-commitment route, where you can decide whether to tackle each obstacle on your own or be helped when you feel the passage is too challenging.
What we will do
The meeting with the guides is 5 minutes before the time indicated in the booking in Vanzone con San Carlo. From here we will move by van to the car park near the stream.
From here we will ascend a comfortable path that will take us to the start of the canyon in just 10 minutes. We will put on all our equipment and slide down the first 4-metre toboggan to enter a world of only water and rock, where nature reigns supreme.
Depending on the level of the group, it will take us between one and a half and two hours to tackle all the obstacles of the Val Bianca canyon, in the province of Verbania, arriving at the top of a spectacular waterfall that cascades down from the rocks for about 100 metres.
At this point we will take a path that will take us back to the car park in about 10 minutes.
The whole experience lasts 4 hours, including the path to approach and leave the canyon on foot.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is for everyone, adults and children from 6 years old, and is the ideal route to try canyoning for the first time. No special experience or skill is required, just a good feeling for the water.
Other information
This activity can be booked from May to September, with double departure: morning and afternoon.
Technical difficulties: rappels not exceeding 10 metres, easy water movements, comfortable waiting areas, several possibilities to leave the canyon.
It is necessary to bring trekking or gym shoes and a swimming costume for the activity, as well as a change of shoes and a towel.
