Experience the thrills of canyoning in the upper reaches of the Vione torrent on Lake Garda: an exciting adventure between water and rock awaits you!
Have fun traversing the watercourse through canyons and deep gorges, cool off with splashing water from waterfalls, dives and natural slides, and experience the adrenalin rush of abseiling from a sheer wall over the water.
Our experienced guides will take you on a route completely immersed in nature that is also suitable for first-timers. What are you waiting for to join us?
What we will do
We will meet the guides in the hamlet of Piovere, in Tignale (BS). Here we will be given ourtechnical equipment and set off to reach the starting point of the canyoning route on the Vione. It will take about 30 minutes on foot to reach the entrance to the canyon. Before we enter, however, we will have a briefing on progression techniques and rules of behaviour and safety.
We will walk along the upper section of the Vione stream, covering a length of 2 km and an altitude difference of 400 metres. We will encounter 12 waterfalls and several toboggans (natural slides). We will dive into crystal-clear pools by jumping from 2 to 10 metre high rocks (diving is not obligatory). And finally, we will tackle a majestic rock face by abseiling down a good 60 metres!
At the end of the route, we will walk for another 30 minutes to return to the starting point and, if we wish, we can end on a high note with a good lunch all together (not included in the participation fee).
The activity has a total duration of about 4 hours. The height difference from the starting point will be 400 metres.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level and is also open to beginners, aged 14 and up , with a good aptitude for physical activity.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from April to October and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants, weather permitting.
For safety reasons, it is forbidden to consume alcohol before the activity takes place.
After booking, you will need to inform the guide of your weight and height for wetsuit provision.
