If your concept of a relaxing holiday involves a bay that can only be reached by sea, you are in the right place. With boat hire in Castro you can set sail in total autonomy and discover hidden coves and glimpses of the Salento that are off the beaten track from the mainland.
You will be in command of a 5. 5-metre boat with a 40-hp Yamaha engine, which can be driven without a licence. You can choose to sail for 4, 5 or 8 hours together with whoever you want, up to a maximum of 8 people.
On board you'll find everything you need to enjoy the day between dives, stops at anchorages and moments of pure relaxation. All you have to do is cast off your moorings!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Castro (LE) . Upon your arrival, the staff will hand you over the boat and give you an initial briefing to explain in detail the handling of the vessel and the safety rules to be observed at sea.
You will board the 5. 85-metre-longCayman boat equipped with a 40-hp Yamaha engine, which can be driven without a licence. The boat is equipped with every comfort: an awning to protect you from the sun, complete cushions, and a convenient stern ladder to easily climb back in after each swim. On request, you can also have an icebox (ice not included) .
Once you leave the harbour, it is up to you to choose your route. We recommend sailing to discover the wonderful bays near Castro, corners of paradise where the water takes on incredible nuances. Remember that, to protect the ecosystem and your safety, you are not allowed to enter the caves or anchor in prohibited areas indicated by the staff.
When booking, you can choose between a 4-hour (morning) , 5-hour (afternoon) and 8-hour rental.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit for passengers. A licence is not required to drive the boat, you only need to be of legal age and have had at least a short experience driving a boat.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility.

The boat can be hired from May to October and can accommodate up to 8 people.
You can choose the 4-, 5- or 8-hour option; select your preference in the booking box.
Important: fuel is not included in the fee and will be payable on return according to actual consumption; the boat has two 25 L tanks to guarantee you maximum autonomy. All boats are covered by third-party liability insurance for all passengers on board.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
There are parking spaces on site; the meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
