What comes to mind when you think of Tuscany? Maybe a horseback ride through hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, beautiful turreted villages and delicious red wines... What if we told you that you could have all these things in one day?
Get ready for an authentic Tuscan adventure: you'll leave Florence on board a minivan to reach the Chianti countryside, where you'll enjoy an hour-long horseback ride. You will then visit San Gimignano, one of Italy's most famous medieval towns, and continue the day with lunch and a wine tasting at a local winery.

What we will do
The appointment is in Florence at 9:00 am. Here we will meet the guide who will accompany us in a minivan to the riding stables in the Chianti hills where our walk will take place. The trip will take about 45 minutes and from the window we will be able to admire the rolling hillsides of Tuscany.
Once we reach the riding school, we will be ready for our horseback ride. After a short briefing, we will mount the saddle and begin our ride through lush vineyards, native forests, olive groves and hillsides where the famous Chianti wines are produced. During theapproximately one-hour ride we will enjoy the calmness of the Tuscan countryside, its colours and scents, proceeding at a leisurely pace.
Once the tour is over and we have said goodbye to our horses, we will move on to San Gimignano for a tour of the historic centre lasting about an hour. Strolling through the town, we will enjoy the view of its famous towers and discover the history of this fascinating medieval town.
After the visit, around 14:00, it will be time to relax and recharge our batteries with a typical 3-course Tuscan lunch at alocal winery. Of course, we will not fail to taste the wines produced here, paired with the delicacies of lunch.
At the end of lunch and wine tasting, it will be time to head back to Florence, where we will return around 5pm.

Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Children from 8 to 11 pay a fee of €140; please contact us to make a reservation.
No experience is required for horse riding, as it is ideal for beginners. You must be at least 1.30 m tall to ride a horse.

The activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
English riding is used for the walk.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals are available on request; contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to express your preferences.
Those who wish to participate without horse riding are entitled to a €20 discount: contact us to make your reservation. While waiting for the other participants, those who do not go on horseback can take a walk around the stables and discover the art of beekeeping and honey production.
The meeting point in Florence is easily accessible by public transport, as it is a 5-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella station. At an additional cost, it is also possible to request a private pick-up from your accommodation in Florence or outside: contact the organiser after the booking confirmation to agree on the details.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
