Full description
No emotion can ever compare to that of rock climbing.
The hands gripping the wall, the green landscape surrounding us and the air that seems to want to support us as we climb are the ingredients of our climbing experience near Bardonecchia. Thanks to the teachings and advice of an Alpine guide, you will learn or improve your knowledge of this sport.
A 3-hour lesson to start or continue cultivating this passion!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Bardonecchia (TO). We will be welcomed by the mountain guide who will accompany us on this rocky adventure!
Once all the participants have gathered and all the necessary introductions have been made, we will each board our own means of transport to head for the rock face that will be the setting for our sporting venture. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes and the crags involved could be those of Nevache, Salbertrand or Plampinet, between Italy and France.
Once we arrive at the scenario selected according to the best conditions of the day, the mountain guide will make anintroduction to the activity and provide all the useful information for a safe experience. We will then be given theequipment and proceed to get dressed.
And here we are ready to climb: in pairs and alternating, 1 participant will start climbing and 1 participant will stay on the ground to support him/her in the venture. We will climb on dolomite or serpentine rock walls around 25 metres high, which can be climbed several times over the course of the lesson, putting ourselves to the test. All in a beautiful natural setting, guided by the presence of the Guglia Rossa!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The climbing lesson will last 3 hours; the total experience will last 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 16 and over; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult to sign a release form.
The activity is not recommended for people with medical conditions and/or who suffer from vertigo.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first climbing lesson; the experience is also suitable for those with climbing experience who want to improve their technique.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
There is free and/or paid parking on site; the meeting point can be reached by public transport. The experience includes a transfer by own vehicle; in the event that the experience takes place in France, the route does not involve customs.
