Full description
Get back in touch with nature and take part in a weekend survival and bushcraft course around La Spezia.
You will learn how to deal with stressful and dangerous situations by participating in an emergency simulation. You will discover the actions to put into practice in order to manage it in the best possible way, thanks to the assistance of expert guides.
You will sleep in the forest, in the shelter you build, putting the instructor's instructions into practice. You will work together with your fellow adventurers to achieve the objectives and at the end of the experience you will receive theCSEN SURVIVAL certificate.
What we will do
The activity begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday at the meeting point in Follo, in the province of La Spezia, where we will meet the rest of the group, made up of 4 to 10 people, and the instructor who will accompany us throughout the weekend dedicated to learning survival and bushcraft techniques.
We will be provided with all theequipment that we will use for different activities over the two days and we will make our way to the base camp where the experience will begin. There will be tasks to complete such as building shelters for the night and activities that will allow us to improve life in the camp together with our fellow adventurers.
We will set upcamp, learn how to tie the most useful knots , and build tools and furniture that will be useful for our weekend in the forest. We will discover primitive techniques for orientation, lighting fires and drinking water. In the evening we will cook together the food we have brought from home, applying bushcraft techniques.
During the course our instructor will help us understand how and when to use the emergency kit and will give us lots of useful information on the psychology of surviving.
At night we will sleep in the bivouacs we will have built during the day and in the morning we will wake up to the sounds of nature. The morning will continue with the simulation of the recovery by the rescuers.
The experience will end on Sunday at 12 noon with the presentation of theCSEN SURVIVAL certificate.
Who it is aimed at
It is a course suitable for everyone from the age of 10.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Other information
The experience takes place throughout the year on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants. If your group consists of at least 4 participants, it is also possible to participate on dates other than those planned; please contact us in private, telling us the dates on which you would like to carry out the experience.
As a gift, you will receive an emergency kit to take with you on your wilderness trips. The kit includes emergency blanket, paracord, fatwood, lesson sheet, candle, resealable bag, natural lanyard.
The course is valid for CSEN Survival training.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
