Full description
Get ready to explore the area between Massarosa and Camaiore on an exclusive horseback ride to experience together with your friends and family.
Along the way you will admire beautiful landscapes, try your hand at horse riding, and be fascinated by the medieval village of Gualdo, an ancient jewel made up of stone houses with small windows and doors.
Right here you will stop for a typical Tuscan lunch, to recover your energy while the horses enjoy some well-deserved rest. In short, this excursion will remain in your heart!
What we will do
The meeting is in Massarosa, in the province of Lucca.
Before we venture out on the trail, I will give a briefing of about 10 minutes to explain how to stay in the saddle and other important commands to be given to the horse such as stopping or pulling over.
Once the mini-lesson is over, we will start the adventure proper, riding along scenic roads that will show us the surrounding area from a vantage point perfect for photos and videos.
We will move through the woods between Massarosa and Camaiore and cross part of the Via Francigena until we reach Gualdo, also known as the village of fairytales, dominated by steep, narrow streets and ancient rural dwellings. Here we will stop for a couple of hours for lunch (included) at the restaurant La Piazzetta.
While we enjoy the typical flavours of Tuscan cuisine, the horses will take the opportunity to rest. After the stop, we will take the same route back to the starting point, covering a total of about 30 km.
The excursion will last a total of eight hours, of which at least six will be riding the horses.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for those who already have some riding experience, e.g. have taken a few lessons or have already done other rides.
The minimum age for participation is 14; minors need not be accompanied by a parent.

Horse riding is available all year round for private groups of up to 10 people.
Riding isAmerican style unless otherwise requested.
Lunch is included in the fee and includes an appetiser, a first course of your choice and drinks. In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
It is not possible to carry bags or backpacks during the walk.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals.
