Full description
Relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of cities and crowded lidos, unplug and treat yourself to a wonderful day sailing off the coast of Santa Maria di Leuca.
Sail into the blue sea and discover the hidden coves and unspoilt nature of the Salento coastline, stopping for a swim where the water is crystal clear.
Let yourself be lulled by the waves and the sea breeze, sunbathe on the boat and enjoy a good fish lunch accompanied by a glass of wine.
What we will do
Departure is at 10:00 am from the port of Santa Maria di Leuca (LE). We will be in the extreme south of the Salento peninsula and we will sail on the Ionian or Adriatic side, depending on the wind.
During navigation, we will be able to relax, sunbathe, and admire the coastal landscape of Salento, with the crew keeping us company by giving us information and telling us stories and curiosities about the area.
There will be 3 to 4 stops for swimming, on the Ionian side at the Grotta delle Tre Porte and the Bay of Felloniche, on the Adriatic side at the Falesia delle Mannute and the Guardiola .
For lunch we will stop at a beautiful bay to enjoy excellent fish dishes, prepared directly on board.
In the afternoon we will sail along the opposite side to the one we visited in the morning, making further stops for swimming. Around 17:00 we will return to the port of S. Maria di Leuca.

This experience is open to everyone, without age limits or other restrictions.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from June to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
The boat used for the excursion is a 13-metre long Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 423 sailing boat, approved for 12 people (10 guests + 2 crew members). The boat is equipped with awning, bow cushions, ladder, freshwater shower, refrigerator and toilet.
Lunch included includes an appetiser with typical local products, a first course with the catch of the day, fruit, water, wine and coffee. In the event of allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements, please send a note after booking.
Seasickness sufferers can take a specific product at least half an hour before boarding. It is not advisable to go to sea either on an empty stomach or with an overfull belly. A light breakfast is recommended before setting off.
Dogs are allowed on board, subject to notification of the organisers after the booking confirmation.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
