If you love the sea, the Salento is your place in the world. And our skippered dinghy tour is your experience!
Set sail to discover the area's main natural attractions, from the prehistoric Grotte della Poesia to the legendary Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea. During the navigation there will be two swim stops to swim in the beautiful natural setting of the Adriatic Coast and a Salento aperitif on board to toast to the irreplaceable Puglia!
The experience lasts a total of 2½ hours, but who wants to go down more!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time in San Foca (LE). You will find me on board my dinghy, ready to host you on our excursion along the Salento coast.
Once all the passengers are on board, we will be ready to set sail for the first stop, Rocca Li Posti: right here you will find the famous Grotte della Poesia (Caves of Poetry), which can only be reached by sea, either by swimming or by a small boat. A splendid natural setting, as well as an important archaeological area.
We will continue our navigation towards the Torre dell'Orso beach and the Faraglioni Le Due Sorelle: legend has it that these very Faraglioni are two sisters, whose bodies were transformed by the gods when, having jumped into the water, they were unable to return to dry land.
We will then continue on to the Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea, stone giants born from the sea. In this way we will have travelled along the stretch of the Adriatic Coast of Salento.
Two bathroom stops are planned during the navigation. A Salento aperitif will also be served on board accompanied by a glass of prosecco (included) to toast this experience!
The excursion lasts a total of 2½ hours; at the end we will return to the meeting point in San Foca.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 2 may participate free of charge but must be notified by contacting the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from April to November and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.
Dogs are allowed on board.
The boat is a BWA 740 inflatable boat with a Mercury 225 hp engine equipped with comfortable seats, a folding table, a Boss Marine stereo system and LED light for night-time outings.
On 18 and 19 August, the seaside village of San Foca is also the setting for the Madonna del Mare Festival, during which there is an evocative procession at sea; for us this is an unmissable event!

For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
