Have you ever wanted to escape the crowds and find your own private beach in the middle of the blue sea of Salento?
In San Foca, Marina di Melendugno, you can turn this dream into reality by putting yourself at the helm of a super-equipped 6-metre dinghy. You don't need to be an experienced sea dog: thanks to the 40 hp engine, you can sail in total freedom and without the need for a licence.
On board you will find everything you need: new cushions, a stereo for your favourite soundtrack, and a freshwater shower to refresh you after each dive. With a capacity for up to 8 people, you'll have enough room for the whole group, whether you choose the half-day option or the full-day adventure.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in San Foca (LE) . Upon your arrival, the staff will welcome you for registration and hand over the latest generation 6-metre dinghy, a spacious and safe craft approved to comfortably transport your group.
The staff will give you a full briefing on the handling of the boat, explaining in detail how to manoeuvre the 40 HP engine and explaining basic navigation rules. They will also suggest the best routes and the most attractive spots to visit along the Salento Adriatic coastline, to ensure a fun and carefree experience.
Once ready, you will set sail from the port to explore the coves on your own. You can head south to admire the ruins of Roca Vecchia or anchor in front of the golden beaches of Torre Sant'Andrea. The dinghy is equipped with a sun canopy to protect you during hot weather and a convenient ladder to climb back on board after swimming.
At the end of the rental, you will return to the starting point to return the boat. When booking, you can choose between half-day (3 hours and 30 minutes) and full-day (10 hours and 30 minutes) hire.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. A licence is not required to drive the dinghy, you only need to be of legal age and present a valid identity document.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The dinghy can be hired from May to September. You can choose the half-day option (3 hours and 30 minutes) and the full-day option (10 hours and 30 minutes); select your preference in the booking box.
Important: fuel is not included in the fee and will be payable on return according to consumption.
No deposit is required.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking spaces are available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
