Full description
From the Ionian to the Adriatic in 3 hours: here is a complete exploration of Salento, the heel of our peninsula.
Set off in an inflatable boat from Torre Vado in the company of a skipper to discover the beauty of the coast: among caves, emerald-bottomed bays and 30-metre-high cliffs, you can admire unspoilt corners and have fun in the company of special people.
The icing on the cake? A perfect Salento aperitif on board, to be enjoyed between dips.
What we will do
We will meet in Torre Vado, 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking. Here we will find our skipper ready to welcome us on board the dinghy.
We will start sailing through the Marina di San Gregorio, pausing to look at the splendid villa that was once a coastal tower belonging to Mussolini. Right next to the villa is a small stretch of beach, Marina di Felloniche, with an emerald-green seabed: we will stop here for a swim (if the weather and sea conditions are favourable).
From this point onwards, the cliff gradually rises and on the way we can admire the fabulous caves of the Ionian Sea, near Santa Maria di Leuca, and then arrive at Punta Ristola, the famous heel of Italy. Continuing along the cliffs, we will reach Punta Meliso, where the coastline rises to around 30 metres, and then begin our exploration of Salento's Adriatic side.
At this point we will stop for a swim, accompanied by a rich aperitif with typical Salento delicacies, prosecco, lemon tea and water.
At the end of the aperitif we will begin the return journey, to reach the port after a 3-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied or present a parent's release form.
Children from 0 to 2 years old participate free of charge: notify the organisers of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not accessible by wheelchair or for people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The tour runs daily from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
You will travel on a comfortable 8.5 m dinghy equipped with awning, freshwater shower, stereo, refrigerator, sundeck. Dogs are not allowed on board.
The excursion includes 2 swimming stops of a minimum of 15 minutes, in locations that may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

The venue cannot be reached by public transport. For those arriving by car, several pay car parks are available nearby.
