Full description
Enjoy the Salento sea on board an inflatable boat on a 3-hour tour. You will sail along the northern coast of Gallipoli until you reach Torre Uluzzo Bay.
After an initial bathing stop in this bay, you will continue towards Porto Selvaggio, among sheer cliffs, coves with lush vegetation and a seabed rich in marine species where you can snorkel.
And, to finish, a tasty aperitif with prosecco and Apulian specialities will delight your palate!
What we will do
We will meet in Gallipoli 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
We will board an inflatable boat equipped for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The skipper will accompany us on this adventure along the northern coast of Gallipoli , taking us to discover incredible places such as the split mountain, Quattro Colonne, Santa Maria del Bagno and Santa Caterina.
We will then head for the Bay of Torre Uluzzo, which owes its name to the tower that dominates the beach and the sea below. The bay is part of the Porto Selvaggio Regional Natural Park and is a true naturalistic jewel, with its sheer cliffs and turquoise sea of a thousand shades.
We will make our first bathing stop in Torre Uluzzo Bay and the second in Porto Selvaggio, where the water is a brilliant turquoise. The very special colouring of the sea is given by the freshwater currents coming from an ancient spring. The beautiful seabed definitely deserves a dive from the dinghy to snorkel with the masks provided. Each swim stop will last between 30 and 40 minutes.
Once back on board the dinghy, we can also indulge in an aperitif with Apulian focaccia, taralli, watermelon, prosecco and water, before resuming navigation to Gallipoli.
The tour will last three hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone from 3 years of age. Up to the age of 16 , the presence of an accompanying adult is required.
Participation by pregnant women and persons with reduced mobility is not recommended. The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place daily from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of five participants.
The dinghy is 7.5 metres long and is equipped with all comforts, such as an awning, sundeck, shower, radio and icebox. The staff also provides participants with snorkelling masks, doughnuts, jackets, swimming boards and floats.
The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.
Dedicated options cannot be guaranteed for participants with food allergies or intolerances.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
