Full description
If you love the sea and want to spend a day sunbathing and swimming in refreshing turquoise waters, you cannot miss our Salento dinghy tour!
Setting off from San Foca, our skipper will take you to discover the most picturesque parts of the Apulian coast as far as Otranto, to places that will easily remain in your mind and heart.
This half-day tour is a perfect experience to have fun in the beautiful natural setting of the Salento!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in San Foca (LE). You will find me on board my dinghy, ready to host you on our excursion along the Salento coast.
Once you have finished boarding, we will set sail towards the first stop, Rocca Li Posti. Here we will visit the scenic Grotte della Poesia, karstic formations with the roof looking up to the sky, which can only be reached by sea in a small boat.
We will then sail towards the beach of Torre dell'Orso and the Faraglioni Le Due Sorelle, to the Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea. These stone giants born from the sea mark the end of the stretch of the Adriatic coast of Salento we have just explored.
We will continue navigating to the Baia dei Turchi and the Baia del Mulino d'Acqua in Otranto: where there was once a mill that functioned thanks to the driving force of water, today there is a splendid natural setting of beaches and caves.
Two bathroom stops are planned during the navigation. A Salento aperitif will also be served on board accompanied by a glass of prosecco (included) to toast this experience with your company!
The excursion has a total duration of 4 hours; at the end we will return to the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 2 may participate free of charge, but must be notified by contacting the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from April to November and will be confirmed once the minimum number of 6 participants has been reached. You will be contacted a few days in advance by the organiser for any changes.
The boat is a BWA 740 dinghy with a Mercury 225 hp engine equipped with comfortable seats, a folding table, a Boss Marine stereo system, and LED light for night-time outings.
Dogs are allowed on board.
