The settingsun. Lu mare dello Ionio. Lu ientu that caresses your face. Here is a tour of the coast in perfect Salento style!
Sailing from Torre Vado in an inflatable boat, you can admire numerous coves from the water and then be fascinated by iconic caves, each with its own history. Get ready to discover the origin of the name of the Grotta dei Giganti and the Grotta del Bambino.
Then dive into the clear waters as the sun dips into the horizon. It will be a unique experience: aperitif included!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Torre Vado, 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Welcomed on board by the skipper, we will immediately set sail on our adventure to discover the caves that line this fascinating stretch of the Salento coastline.
We will discover the Grotta della Stalla, an ancient shelter for fishermen, and the Grotta dei Giganti, whose name derives from the discovery of the bones of a prehistoric elephant. Continuing our navigation and illuminated by the light of the setting sun, we will then stop at the Grotta delle Tre Porte, which houses the Grotta Titti and the Grotta del Bambino.
Continuing on through evocative coves, where we will dive into clear and beautifully coloured waters, we will enjoy an aperitif on board with typical Salento delicacies, prosecco, lemon tea and water. All framed by the spectacle of the sunset.
We will then reach the Grotta del Fiume, the bed of an ancient watercourse of karstic origin, before heading towards Punta Ristola, the heel of Italy. This last stop will mark the end of the trip, and we will return to the port after a three-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied or present a parent's release form.
Children from 0 to 2 years old participate free of charge: notify the organisers of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not accessible by wheelchair or for people with reduced mobility.

The tour runs daily from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
You will travel on a comfortable 8.5 m dinghy equipped with awning, freshwater shower, stereo, refrigerator, sundeck. Dogs are not allowed on board.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

The meeting place cannot be reached by public transport. For those arriving by car, several pay car parks are available nearby.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
