Experience the incredible thrill of breathing underwater like a real diver in an exceptional location, La Maddalena!
You can dive into the crystal-clear waters of La Maddalena together with an expert instructor, for a first diving experience in total safety. The Scuba Diving Experience is in fact the first approach for those who want to get closer to the world of diving, ideal for those who have never dived before.
Enjoy half a day of adventure and reach a depth of 4 metres off the island of La Maddalena. Theory lesson and equipment are included!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the diving centre in Baja Sardinia, in the province of Sassari at 8:20 or 14:50. On arrival we will be welcomed by the instructor and, after registration, we will be accompanied to the boarding point. Afterwards, we will be provided with thecomplete equipment and we will reach the dive site.
Once at the site, the instructor will explain the procedures and all the most important notions before we dive. From here theactual dive will begin: we will reach a depth of between 2 and 4 metres, exploring unique seabeds rich in marine species.
During the dive, which lasts about 30 minutes, we will be assisted by the diving instructor to ensure maximum safety. Back on board, a snack with snacks and drinks (included) will then await us. We will enjoy a few moments of relaxation during the trip back to the pier and then to the diving office, where we will store our equipment.
The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 8. No patent is required, just the ability to swim.
Other information
The activity is bookable from May to October, depending on sea weather conditions, and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The dive consists of the first lesson and allows access to the 1st level Open Water Diver course.
The ticket for the Maddalena Archipelago National Park is included in the fee.
It is strongly discouraged to dive 24 hours before an aeroplane flight, as, due to the lower atmospheric pressure on board the plane, nitrogen, which may have remained in the body, may form bubbles inside the tissues that can obstruct the flow of blood.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
