If in summer nothing scares you more than crowded beaches, here is the most fun (and surprising!) way to escape them: half a day of diving (2 to be exact) in the La Maddalena Archipelago!
We know what you're thinking, but don't worry: no licence is required to take part, but most importantly, there will always be a diving instructor with you, ready to guide you through this experience among the seabed of Sardinia.

What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 08:30 at the meeting point in Cannigione (SS). We will be welcomed by our diving instructor, who will first explain to us the basics ofusing the equipment and the basics of underwater breathing, to ensure a carefree experience.
We will then proceed to get dressed and board the dinghy that will take us to theMaddalena Archipelago. The preferred dive spots are usually the Isolotti dei Monaci to the south-east of Caprera or the coast of Spargi, but these may vary depending on weather conditions and the preferences of the group.
Once at the first dive site, we willdive in small groups of two to three people together with the instructor for adive of about30-40 minutes at a maximum depth of 8 metres. It will be during these moments that we will be able to experience the thrill of breathing underwater and observe groupers, bream, starfish, parrotfish and, with a bit of luck, amberjacks and eagle rays up close.
Once we are afloat again, we will climb back into the dinghy, after which we will move to a second dive site to repeat the experience with even more confidence and enthusiasm, until we reach a depth of 12 metres!
Once the second dive is also finished, we will return to the starting point at around 13:00. The experience will last a total of around 4½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone aged 10 and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed authorisation from a parent in order to take part in the experience.
The activity is suitable for a first dive and no licence is required to participate, but swimming skills are necessary.
Other information
The activity can be booked every day from May to October.
It is not recommended to dive 24 hours before a flight.
The diving centre is located near a campsite where showers and toilets are available. There are no changing rooms; it is advisable to arrive with your swimming costume already on.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point or attend the experience at the reduced cost of 35€, which can be selected when booking. They will be able to board the raft and reach the dive site together with the participants. Upon request, they will also be provided withsnorkelling equipment.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can also be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
