Put on your tanks and snorkel and let yourself be enchanted by the depths of theIsland of Elba!
With this Discovery Scuba Diving experience, you will experience two dives in one day, both in the company of a PADI instructor who will guide you step by step.
When booking, you can even choose whether to start from the beach for a more gradual approach or to reach the local dive spots by boat for a bit more adventure. Either way, you will experience unique emotions!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Capoliveri (LI).
APADI instructor will be waiting for us and will accompany us on this underwater experience. We will begin with a short theoretical lesson on land to introduce the safety rules and the use of theequipment we will be given.
After the briefing and dressing, we will enter the water for the first dive, of a maximum of 8 metres, during which we will do some exercises to familiarise ourselves with breathing and underwater movements. This phase has a didactic approach and will allow us to acclimatise gradually.
After a short interval on the surface, it will be time for the second dive, of a maximum of 12 metres and aimed at exploring the area's marine fauna, which we will be able to admire at our leisure as each dive will last between 30 and 45 minutes.
Depending on our preparedness and safety, when booking we will be able to select the"From the beach" option for a more gradual approach starting from land, or the"From the boat" option for a more adventurous experience, with boat trips to nearby dive sites.
The total duration of the activity will be approximately 2 hours ('From the beach' option) or 4 hours ('From the boat' option).
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 8.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate in the activity, but good aquatic skills are required.
A medical history document will be requested after confirmation of booking. Participation is not possible in case of lung and heart disease and in case of nose or ear problems.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required.
The activity is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

The experience takes place from May to October.
Please note. When booking, you will be able to select the"From the beach" option for a more gradual approach starting from land, or the"From the boat" option for a more adventurous experience, with boat trips to nearby dive sites.
At the end of the activity we will receive a certification valid for 12 months, which will allow us to continue the course and obtain the PADI Open Water Diver licence.
There are no changing rooms or showers on site: personal belongings can be left at the organisers' meeting point.
Scuba diving within 24 hours prior to a flight is not recommended.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and there is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
