Land of dolphins and sperm whales, the Marina of Taranto awaits you for an excitingDolphin Watching experience: sharpen your eyes and go in search of these splendid cetaceans!
Aboard a comfortable inflatable boat, our skipper will take you to the spots in the Gulf of Taranto where you are most likely to spot dolphins diving into the blue.
Don't forget your camera to document the sighting and take advantage of a refreshing swim in the waters of the Ionian Sea.
What we will do
We depart from the Canal Harbour in Marina di Ginosa (TA) at 10am or 6pm, the times when there is the highest probability of sighting cetaceans in that area.
During the 2-hour excursion, the skipper will take us around the Gulf of Taranto in search of dolphins and sperm whales swimming undisturbed in the waters of the Ionian Sea. The tour will also give us a chance to admire the city skyline and coastal views from the sea.
A stop for swimming and a small aperitif on board with typical Apulian products such as olives, focaccia taralli and other delicacies is included.

This activity can be booked from May to October; from mid-September to the end of October, departure is guaranteed with a minimum number of 8 participants.
Children under the age of 3 participate free of charge.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
