Full description
Sandy beaches alternating with rocky coves, shallow waters and a Blue Flag sea: it is no coincidence that Vieste is called the Pearl of the Gargano.
Get ready for a boat tour in one of the most popular locations in Apulia. Set sail on the Barca Betta and enjoy a day of relaxation, fun and nature for the whole family, while aneducator on board will entertain the little ones with stories and creative activities in the middle of the sea.
After 6 hours on board we will all be 'Betta's friends'!
What we will do
We will meet at Vieste, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking. After a welcome at the office, we will head for the jetty to board the Betta boat and begin our excursion.
Skirting the town of Vieste, we will admire the Pizzomunno rock, a 25-metre-high monolith and symbol of the town. From here we will continue south for about 13 miles of coastline, reaching some of the most beautiful bays, such as Baia di San Felice, Baia di Campi, Porto Greco, Vignanotica, Baia delle Zagare.
During the navigation towards Baia delle Zagare we will make a first swimming stop directly from the boat, from which we will drop anchor to dive into the sea (the precise point will be decided according to the weather and sea conditions of the day), after which we will enjoy a snack of fresh fruit.
Once we reach Baia delle Zagare, we will reverse course and anchor again for a longer stop, usually near Porto Greco Bay. We will enjoy some typical Apulian products on board, accompanied by juice for the children and wine for the adults, as well as coffee and sweets.
Then a very special moment dedicated to children will begin:educator Grazia will entertain the little ones with creative activities in the middle of the sea, including drawings and crafts. "Navigando navigando" Grazia will tell stories aloud about the sea and the land, while parents can relax on board or take a swim.
Once the creative moment is over, we will depart in the direction of Vieste. At the end of the 6-hour tour we will say goodbye as 'friends of Betta': the children will also receive a personalised story-telling kit to take home as a souvenir of the experience.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
Children aged 0 to 3 pay a reduced fee (€45 in June and September; €50 in July and August): contact us to book.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion departs daily from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
You will travel on board the motor boat Betta, which is equipped with safety equipment, approved children's jackets, inflatables and a SUP board at the participants' disposal. The10-metre wooden boat has a 2.8-metre-wide stern platform, a fixed wooden deck that creates a large shaded area, cushioned benches, bow cushions and a freshwater shower.

It is possible to take small dogs on board, upon request to the organisers after the booking confirmation.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
