Adventure has no age, and our family rafting is proof of that!
An experience of more than one and a half hours designed to entertain young and old, from 3 years of age: a peaceful trip aboard spacious rubber dinghies, with a few water games to play with the support of the guide.
All in the splendid natural setting of the Serchio river, just a few kilometres from Lucca.
What we will do
The meeting point is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Chifenti (LU). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this family rafting trip!
Once all participants have gathered, we will be handed our clothing; a short briefing on its use will follow before proceeding with dressing. We will then board a shuttle that will take us to the starting point of the activity in just 10 minutes. Here a briefing will take place on land on how to use the equipment followed by a trial run in the water. The experience will take place aboard spacious rubber dinghies, suitable for the whole family in safety.
And here we are ready to navigate the Serchio river, reaching its confluence with the Lima torrent. We will paddle through the Tuscan countryside, following a peaceful route with a few rapids and water play; if the water level permits, we will also make some swimming stops. A rafting experience created especially for children, which will entertain the whole family!
The shuttle bus will be waiting for us at the landing point, to take us back to the meeting point. The rafting will last 1½ hours; the total experience will last 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children from 3 years of age; children up to 10 years of age must participate in the activity together with an adult, while children from 11 years of age onwards only need to be accompanied to the centre by an adult to sign the release form.
To participate, it is not necessary to know how to swim, but it is necessary not to be afraid of water.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first rafting experience.

The experience is available from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 3 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The centre has dinghies of different capacities, from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 12 passengers per dinghy.
There are changing rooms with toilets and showers on site; any personal items can be left in the centre.
Any accompanying persons may wait at the centre or walk to Bagni di Lucca. Leashed dogs are allowed at the centre.
The membership card is valid for 1 calendar year and allows you to enjoy the same or other experiences at the centre at a reduced rate.
