Full description
An easy hike dedicated to family groups with children from 5 years of age in which, walking with snowshoes on our feet, we will discover the snow and the tracks left by animals.
Accompanied by an Alpine Guide, we will discover the landscapes around Bardonecchia to spend a few hours enjoying nature.
During the excursion, which lasts a couple of hours, we will make observations on flora and fauna and play in the snow: there's no shortage of sliding!
What we will do
The meeting point is the"Chalet delle Guide" in Bardonecchia at 10am. You will be welcomed by the Guide who will accompany you throughout the activity and provide you with equipment(snowshoes and poles).
You will then move on to Pian del Colle or the Jafferau, you can use the car or the cable car, where you will play in the snow, slide and observe the life of the forest, not so dormant during the winter.
At the end of the trip, which lasts a couple of hours, we will return together to the meeting point for farewells.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, adults and children from 5 years of age. Arrangements can also be made with younger children (3-4 years old) if the weather conditions are favourable and the children are used to the outdoors.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The activity is bookable from December to April and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 5 participants.
In the case of large groups, participants will be accompanied by several guides.
The gondola is not included and is priced at €11 per round trip.
Dogs are not allowed on the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
