Full description
Just as the name'Baptism of the Sea' suggests, this experience will only be the beginning of your passion for diving!
In the company of an instructor, you will learn the basics of diving and venture on your first dive to a depth of 5 metres.
A2-hour experience between land and sea, in the beautiful natural setting of theIsland of Elba.
What we will do
The appointment is at 15:00 at the meeting point in Marciana Marina (LI). We will be welcomed by thediving instructor who will guide us on our"baptism of the sea"!
Once all participants have gathered, a theoretical briefing will take place during which the basics of diving will be described. This will be followed by equipment preparation and dressing. This first moment will last approximately 30 minutes.
We will then head on foot to the Spiaggia della Feniccia beach, characterised by scenic rock walls: this will be the setting for our first underwater dive. From land, we will enter the water: followed by the instructor, we will dive one time to a maximum depth of 5 metres. We will be able to try out different diving exercises, either kneeling on the sandy seabed or finning; we will be accompanied by sole, cuttlefish, octopus and starfish that inhabit the waters of theIsland of Elba! This second moment in the water will last about 30 minutes.
We will finally return to the meeting point where a debriefing will take place followed by the handing in of the paper certificate. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by an adult.
The activity is suitable for persons with motor disabilities, non-motor disabilities and blind persons.
In the event of a medical condition, a sports medical certificate confirming suitability for the diving experience must be presented.

Caution! It is forbidden to fly within 24 hours of the experience.
The experience takes place from April to October.
There is free parking on site.
There is a changing room with toilet and shower on site. There are no lockers, but any personal belongings can be left in the organiser's care.
