Treat yourself to an exclusive hot-air balloon flight over the Romagna hinterland and enjoy an extraordinary experience, to be tried at least once in a lifetime.
You will leave from Faenza, a city with beautiful Renaissance art, to fly over the Romagna countryside with its beautiful orchards. From afar, you can even admire the Adriatic Sea and theFaenza Apennines.
You will fly for about an hour in the company of an experienced pilot, to ensure maximum safety. All you have to think about is enjoying the breathtaking view and the unique thrill of floating in the air, letting the wind carry you.
To conclude the experience, a rich final breakfast prepared especially for you.
What we will do
The rendezvous is in the morning near Faenza, in the province of Ravenna, where you will be welcomed by staff who will direct you to your hot-air balloon.
Before boarding the wicker basket, you will be able to watch the balloon inflate. As soon as the air inside the balloon has warmed up and you have had your pre-flight briefing, you will be ready for take-off.
You will fly over the beautiful Romagna countryside, admiring the orchards from above and the sea and Apennines in the distance. The route of the hot air balloon varies from time to time, in fact, it is determined solely by the currents. Each trip is a unique and unrepeatable experience!
After about an hour of flight, it will be time to land. The wind conditions will determine the landing zone, which is generally on grass. You will be met by one of the organisation's vehicles, which will take you to a selected bar or farmhouse.
Here you will be offered a rich breakfast with typical local products. Finally, you will be driven back to the initial meeting point, where you will have left your cars (or first to your cars and then to the breakfast venue, depending on the distance).
The activity lasts about two and a half hours in total, including one hour of actual flying time.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 18.
Pregnant women, people with cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases or suffering from osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problems arenot allowed to fly. In addition, it is forbidden to fly while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and to anyone who has been diving in the 24 hours preceding the flight.
Other information
The activity takes place in the morning all year round, weather permitting.
Important: the flight times indicated in the calendar are approximate and vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the organisers confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!
You are not allowed to bring any items on board, with the exception of camera equipment and binoculars (which must be contained in appropriate bags stowed before landing).
Smoking is prohibited on the take-off and landing field, on the hot air balloon or in any of the organisation's vehicles. The hot air balloon is fuelled with highly flammable liquid propane.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
