Full description
The blue of Lake Iseo mingles with the sky, the Franciacorta vineyards stretch out everywhere, and all around there is an almost unreal silence, broken only by the breath of the burner.
It is not a dream, even if for a moment it seems so. That's what happens when you board a hot-air balloon and let yourself be carried away above one of the most enchanting landscapes in northern Italy.
A 1-hour flight that gives you a different perspective on the world - and moments impossible to forget.
What we will do
The meeting point is Passirano, in the heart of Franciacorta and just a few kilometres from Lake Iseo.
On arrival, we will witness one of the most evocative moments of the entire experience: the inflation of the balloon. Seeing the balloon slowly take shape as the sky begins to clear is already a small spectacle.
Once the hot air has brought the balloon to life and we have had our pre-flight briefing with the pilot, it is time to climb aboard the wicker basket and take off.
From up there, depending on the direction of the wind, we will be able to admire Lake Iseo nestled between the mountains, the tidy rows of Franciacorta vineyards, cultivated fields, ancient villages and the gentle contours of the hills that stretch to the horizon. Each flight is different and for that reason unique.
After about one hour in the air, we will land gently at a point chosen by the wind, where we will find one of the organisation's vehicles ready to take us to a selected farmhouse in the area.
Awaiting us here will be a breakfast prepared especially for us: a cappuccino, a croissant, something savoury - and plenty of time to talk about the experience we have just had. Finally, we will be driven back to the initial meeting point.
Between the briefing, flight, transfers and breakfast, the activity takes about 2½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age, with aminimum height of 120 cm and a maximum weight of 130 kg.
Children aged between 6 and 12 can only board if accompanied by a parent.
Pregnant women, people with cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases or suffering from osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problemscannot fly. In addition, it is forbidden to fly while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and to anyone who has been diving in the 24 hours preceding the flight.
Other information
The activity takes place from July to September at weekends and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants (balloon filling).
Important: scheduled flight times are approximate and may vary depending on weather conditions. A few days before the activity you will receive an email from the organisers confirming the time and address. Always check the email before you leave!
In case of food allergies and/or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance (contact details will be sent to you by email with the booking confirmation).
You are not allowed to bring any items on board, with the exception of camera equipment and binoculars (which must be contained in appropriate bags stowed before landing operations).
Smoking is prohibited on the take-off and landing field, on the hot air balloon or in any of the organisation's vehicles. The hot air balloon is fuelled with highly flammable liquid propane.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
