A silent thrill. The blaze that lights up the sky. And below you, Lake Como revealing itself in all its beauty.
Climb aboard a hot-air balloon and let yourself be carried away by the wind for about 1 hour of pure magic. You will float between sky and earth, immersed in the stillness of dawn as the landscape lights up with light and colours, transforming before your eyes.
The sky of Como is waiting for you. And don't forget to look down: you are flying over one of the most beautiful places in Italy.
What we will do
We will meet the pilot and the rest of the group in Como, at the take-off point selected by the pilot according to the winds of the day (the meeting address will be provided a few days before the activity). The flight takes place in the early hours of the morning, to take advantage of the best currents.
The experience begins in the early stages of preparing the hot-air balloon. We will witness the ignition of the burner and the great blaze that inflates the balloon. Then, we will have a briefing on behaviour and safety rules and take our place in the basket.
The scenic flight will last about one hour and the route... will be decided by the wind! In fact, the hot air balloon is not a steerable craft and follows the trajectory of the currents. This is precisely why each flight is a unique and unrepeatable journey! What is certain is that we will be immersed in a magnificent panorama.
Lake Como will appear to us in all its beauty and we will be able to let our gaze wander 360 degrees over the city with its monuments, the surrounding mountains and the blue expanse of water.
Uponlanding, we will be greeted by the ground staff with a toast and a souvenir certificate and, at the end, we will be escorted back to the initial meeting point.
Between the briefing, flight and transfers, the activity will last a total of about three hours.
Who it is aimed at
Hot air ballooning is an activity within everyone's reach. The only restrictions apply to pregnant women and people with major illnesses or mobility problems in their lower limbs. One can participate from aminimum age of 8 years (with a height of at least 130 cm).

This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting.
Important: once you have made your booking, remember to send the organiser the details of all participants as soon as possible: name, surname, date of birth and nationality.
A few days before the activity, you will receive a communication from the pilot confirming the flight and the address of the meeting point.
Participants weighing over 120 kg are required to notify the pilot after booking.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
