Experience the thrill of a hot-air balloon flight over the Sabina hills, in the Lazio hinterland. A very pleasant trip that will allow you to admire from above the millenary ruins of Roman archaeological sites, and then continue towards the Tiber river and the countryside surrounding the capital.
Flying in a hot-air balloon is anextraordinary experience, to be enjoyed at least once in one's life to discover the pleasure of being carried by the wind aboard the wicker basket and look out over the world from a new perspective, experiencing the incredible sensation of 'floating' in the air.
The ground crew and experienced pilots will give you an unforgettable moment, to be enjoyed to the full without any worries other than capturing the most beautiful views. You will be amazed!
What we will do
We will meet in Otricoli, not far from Magliano Sabina (RI), where the crew will welcome us and give us all the necessary instructions for the flight. When the air inside the balloon is hot, we will take to the air and fly over the Otricoli area, a town that from the top of a hill dominates thearchaeological area below.
This area was inhabited by pre-Roman populations and preserves constructions from different eras, such as the fascinating medieval walls. We will fly over the Tiber and admire the pretty villages from above, with the lush Roman countryside providing the backdrop for the duration of the trip.
We will fly early in the morning to take advantage of the best wind conditions. After landing, the staff will offer us an aperitif of wine, cold meats and cheeses typical of the area. It will be a fun occasion to perform the ritual of the 'baptism of flight', complete with a certificate signed by the pilot. At the end, the staff will take us back to the meeting point.
The activity lasts between 3 and 4 hours, including 1 hour of actual flight time.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and open to everyone from 8 years old and up. No prerequisites are required. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and those with walking limitations.
Persons weighing over 115 kg are required to pay a 50% surcharge. Contact us privately for more information.

The experience is generally available from mid-March to mid-November on the dates indicated in the calendar (continuously updated).
Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
Prices vary by week and weekend as follows:

Dogs are not allowed on board the hot air balloon.
The day before the activity you will receive a message from the pilot confirming the flight and the exact meeting time.
