Do you already have experience on horseback and are you looking for a new adventure? Are you looking forward to immersing yourself in nature in the saddle of your favourite four-legged animal?
Then don't miss our half-day horseback ride in the Ragusa countryside. You will be able to put your knowledge to good use, set off at a trot and gallop through long trails in boundless landscapes to Chiaramonte Gulfi, the 'balcony of Sicily'.

What we will do
We will meet at the time selected at the time of booking at the Ragusa stables, where we will meet the riding guide and the horses that will accompany us on our half-day adventure.
After preparing the horses and getting on the saddle, we will leave the camp in the company of the guide. We will ride along long trails in the midst of nature, enjoying the clean air and the beautiful landscape that surrounds us.
We will cover a total of 25 km, passing an abandoned stone quarry and an old ruined farmhouse. We will then reach Chiaramonte Gulfi, a town in the Monti Iblei famous for its magnificent location. In fact, it is called the 'balcony of Sicily' for the panoramic view that stretches from Mount Etna to the Gulf of Gela.
If the guide allows it, we will be able to trot and gallop during the walk. No long stops are planned, but there is the possibility of stopping, getting off the horse and walking stretches of road to stretch the legs and let the horses rest.
The total duration of the experience is 4 hours and ends with the return to the riding school.
Who it is aimed at
The walk requires a minimum of horse riding experience, so it is not suitable for beginners. You must be able to handle the animal independently and know the different gaits (trot and gallop) .
To participate, you must be at least 14 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The location is in open country, so it is not possible to reach it by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
