Full description
Enjoy a 3-hour trekking tour to discover the Castelli Romani and the most beautiful spots from which to admire the nature area.
A local guide will accompany you along the Via Sacra Romana, an easy route suitable for everyone. You will immerse yourself in the nature and history of the Castelli Romani Park and discover the beauty of the lakes of Nemi and Albano. Finally, you will enjoy a typical Roman lunch with friends in a local restaurant.

What we will do
We will pick you up in our minivan at the Anagnina Metro station in Rome (included) to head to the Castelli Romani. During the 25-minute ride, we will get to know each other and prepare for this unique adventure.
Once we arrive at Hannibal's Fields, we will get out of the minivan and begin the excursion. I will accompany you along a route known as the Via Sacra Romana, a Roman pavement dating back to the 7th century BC. For centuries it was used to reach the temple dedicated to the deity Jupiter of Latium, considered the most important place of worship in pre-Roman times.
After about an hour's walk, a breathtaking panorama will open up before our eyes, sweeping over the entirenaturalistic area of the Castelli Romani, including the two enchanting lakes of Nemi and Albano.
After our stop, we begin the descent that will take us back to our starting point. In a few minutes we will reach a restaurant on the shores of Lake Albano in Castel Gandolfo, where we will enjoy a typical Roman pasta dish of your choice (lunch included in the fee).
With a full belly and a smile, we will return to the departure station within half an hour. The experience lasts about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for everyone from the age of 5 years.
The tour is not suitable for people with motor disabilities or in wheelchairs.
Other information
The activity takes place from October to March.
Dogs may participate in the excursion, provided they are on a leash.
For those who do not wish to or cannot travel by car, it is possible to request a free transfer from/to Metro Anagnina in Rome (to be requested directly from the guide after booking).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
