Hire a 5.80 m, 40 hp motor boat to venture out to sea with your company of up to 7 participants! The charter is available for half or full days, at your choice.
The itinerary is also your choice, as you will be driving this boat without a licence. Welcome to the beautiful natural setting of Salento, which you will explore below the coast!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 20 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Torre Vado (LE). Upon your arrival I will hand over my motor boat, which will accompany you on this adventure by sea.
The boat is the IDEA 58, 5.80 metres long and 2.50 metres wide, with a Yamaha 40/60 HP four-stroke low-consumption engine; it is equipped with a pilot boat with a seat, sundeck, cushions, retractable ladder, and awning. Everything you need for a comfortable life on board!
Become a captain for a day and take the wheel of this boat without a licence. You decide on the itinerary: we recommend exploring the Ionian side of Salento, dotted with sea caves that have many legends to tell!
The rental will last 5 hours (half-day) or 10 hours (full-day) depending on the option selected during the booking process.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children aged 0 to 2 years participate free of charge; the boat is not pram accessible.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
You can hire this boat without a licence.
Other information
Attention. Participants are asked to return to the harbour before dark, regardless of the time of hire.
This boat hire is available from May to October.
A deposit of 50€ in cash is required on site for fuel, which will be returned at the end of the day or supplemented with the amount due according to the fuel used.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there are free and paid parking spaces on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
