Would you like to explore the Salento coastline directly from the sea?
With the Salento Marine Elite 19 you can sail without a licence and reach some of Otranto's most iconic wonders. From Baia del Mulino d'Acqua to the turquoise waters of Baia dei Turchi and the majestic cliffs of Sant'Andrea and Torre dell'Orso, every corner of the coast is waiting to be discovered.
Do you want to leave in the morning and enjoy the whole day or do you prefer a relaxing afternoon until sunset? You choose the duration of your charter!
What we will do
You will be able to collect the boat in Otranto at the time selected during the booking process. On arrival, the staff will welcome you for the signing of the rental contract and a briefing on the rules of navigation and use of the boat.
The Salento Marine Elite 19, 5.8 metres long and with a 40 HP engine, is equipped with:
- Awning to protect you from the sun in the hottest hours;
- Shower to rinse off after a dip;
- Climbing ladder for easy access from the water;
- Cushioning to relax while sailing.
You decide where you want to go: you can dive into the crystal-clear waters of Baia Morrone, explore the caves of Baia del Mulino d'Acqua or sail to the cliffs of Torre dell'Orso for unparalleled views.
The return of the boat will always take place at the starting point, after 4 hours or 8 hours of rental, depending on your choice.
Who it is aimed at
You must be at least 18 years old to drive the boat. A boat licence is not required.
Passengers of any age are welcome on board.
The dinghy is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
Rental is available daily from June to October. In August, only daily rental (9am-6pm) is available.
Fuel is excluded from the fee and will be paid on return to port (cash or credit card) according to consumption.
Dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting place is easily accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
