Have you ever heard of Valdarno?
Maybe not, but you have certainly seen it. In fact, legend has it that the Valdarno crags were painted by Leonardo Da Vinci as the backdrop for the Mona Lisa. And it is precisely in this picturesque setting that our horse riding lesson and horseback ride will take place!
Two experiences lasting one hour each, to get passionate about this discipline and this territory.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rendola (AR). Welcoming you to the riding stables will be me, your equestrian guide!
After getting to know my beloved horses, I will then help you into the saddle with English riding. This will start the first part of the experience, which consists of a 1-hour riding lesson: you will learn the basics of the discipline, starting with the gait and ending with a hint of trotting.
We will then be ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the hills around the riding school, passing in front of the landowner's scenic villa. We will ride through vineyards that preserve traces of the balze del Vadarno, or natural compounds created by the draining of a large lake that washed the area; legend has it that they were painted on the background of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci!
After about 5 km in the saddle, we will finally return to the stables. The horseback ride will last 1 hour; the experience will last a total of 2 hours. If, when booking, you have selected the"lesson and ride + lunch" option, a table will be waiting for you on your return with an appetiser, first course, main course, side dish, dessert, water and wine at theriding school's agriturismo.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 85 kg is required to participate in this activity.
The excursion is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience is available from March to October (excluding the period from mid-June to mid-September) and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can stay at the riding stables/farm. Leashed dogs are permitted at the riding stables.
The"lesson and walk + lunch" option is available from April to September. If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform them.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
