If you don’t have a glass of red wine in Chianti, you haven’t really been there.
And you’ll get to do just that by joining our horse ride with an aperitif in Scandicci: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll venture into a stunning natural setting just a stone’s throw from the city of Florence, riding through woods and alongside streams.
An experience lasting over an hour, featuring a traditional Tuscan aperitif courtesy of Antinori!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Scandicci (FI). Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up, learn the basics of horse riding and all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: as we leave the riding school, we’ll ride alongside a stream, cross the stone-lined riverbed and head towards Villa Antinori, the summer residence of the Marquises of Antinori. We’ll then pass by the Church of San Martino alla Palma and head into the woods, before returning to the meeting point. The horse ride lasts 1 hour.
Back at the starting point, a traditional Tuscan aperitif will be waiting for us: bruschetta, cold cuts, cheeses and a glass of red wine from the Antinori Winery. The entire experience lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for those aged 14 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the meeting point.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to take part.
The experience is suitable for people with both physical and non-physical disabilities; the guide is also a Level 2 NEP instructor. Please contact the guide using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know if a person with a disability will be joining the group.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The riding guide leads the group on foot or on horseback at their discretion. The ride takes place at a walking pace.

Dogs are allowed at the riding centre: please contact the guide using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know your four-legged friend will be staying at the riding centre whilst the experience takes place.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
