The scent of the Mediterranean maquis. The sea lapping against the shore. Hooves sinking into the sand.
This is what awaits you on our private horseback ride in Sciacca: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the characteristic Sicilian countryside until you reach the sea.
A 3-hour experience that will give you a unique feeling of freedom!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sciacca (AG) . You will be welcomed by your equestrian guide, ready to accompany you on this exclusive adventure!
Once you have received your equipment, you will meet your trusty steed. You will climb into the saddle, learn the basics of horse riding and all useful information for a carefree experience. This part will last approximately 20 minutes.
And here you are ready for your private horseback ride: you will initially ride through the characteristic Sicilian countryside, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub dotted with olive groves and vineyards; you will then reach the Monte Rotondo and Lumia beaches. You will then set your hooves in the sand, stroll along the seafront and, if the temperatures allow, even take a bath with your horse!
On the way back, you will pass through the locality of Pinnata, stopping at a vantage point with a view of Mount Kronio and the Basilica of San Calogero. The guide will lead you on horseback or on foot according to the participants' needs; the walk is at a walking pace with the possibility of practising other gaits at the guide's discretion.
You will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last approximately 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult or have authorisation signed by an adult.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders may request to practice other gaits in addition to pacing at the guide's discretion.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round.
Dogs are allowed in the riding hall, where they must remain during the walk.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
