Yes, you are not hallucinating. Take part in our horseback ride in Castell'Alfero: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride in the splendid setting of the Asti hills. And when you return to the stables, you will find the animals of the exotic farm waiting for you.
A 2-hour experience, with an unfailing aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Callianetto, a hamlet in the municipality of Castell'Alfero (AT). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will familiarise ourselves with our adventure companion by cleaning, brushing and saddling it in preparation for the activity. And here we are ready to mount and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will not fail to provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
Our horseback ride can then begin: we will venture into the splendid setting of the Asti hills, taking a scenic route through open countryside and woodland. The guide will lead the group on horseback and provide constant support. The horseback ride will last approximately 1 hour.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point where an aperitif based on local products will be waiting for us: we will sit on the scenic giant bench to toast with cold meats, cheeses, other delicacies and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. Keeping us company will be the animals of the exotic farm: alpacas, cows, zebras, dromedaries and other surprising specimens will graze around us; they may even approach in search of cuddles! The guide will not fail to introduce each animal during the guided tour of the farm.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
