What's at the end of the rainbow?
We don't know, but at the end of our horseback ride in Cagliari there is a plate of malloreddus. Ride in the company of our equestrian guide between the salt pans of the Molentargius Park and the seafront promenade of the Poetto Beach, enjoying the view from the saddle.
An experience of over 2 hours, with (rich) tasting of local products!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in the locality of Medau Su Cramu in Cagliari (CA) . Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure on horseback!
Once all participants have gathered and handed over their equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will then mount the saddle and learn the basics of horseback riding; the guide will provide all the necessary information for a carefree experience. This will last approximately 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride on dirt tracks in the beautiful setting of the Molentargius Park, a short distance from the heart of Cagliari. We will ride in a natural oasis with views of the salt pans populated by cute pink flamingos on one side and the Poetto waterfront on the other. And in the period from mid-October to early May only, when the bathing season has not yet started, it will also be possible to ride on the Poetto beach and in the sea! The guide will follow the group on horseback or on land with a longhorn, depending on the age or need of the individual participants. The horseback ride will last 2 hours.
We will finally return to the meeting point where we will find a tasting of typical products such as salami, cheese and other Sardinian delicacies accompanied by water and house wine waiting for us. To toast in company to this adventure and to Sardinia!
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 13 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.
Other information
Attention! It will only be possible to ride on the Poetto Beach and in the sea in the period from mid-October to early May, when the bathing season has not yet started.
The experience takes place all year round.
Any personal belongings can be deposited at the stables.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport but can be reached by taxi.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
