Take part in our horseback ride in the province of Pisa: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the characteristic scenery of the Pisan hills and stop in nature for a picnic based on local products.
A day in the saddle, with the aroma of finocchiona in your saddlebag!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Colomba, a hamlet in the municipality of Bientina (PI) . We will find the equestrian guide waiting for us, who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. We will then mount the saddle and learn or brush up on the basics of horse riding, and the guide will provide all the information needed for a carefree experience. This moment will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride through the characteristic hilly scenery of the province of Pisa, venturing into the open countryside and woods. Along the way, we will encounter a scenic lake, admire Monte Serra and the Valdarno Inferiore plain, and not fail to stop at panoramic viewpoints to take souvenir photos. The guide will lead the group on horseback and the walk will take place at the pace.
Once we have found the ideal scenery, we will stop along the way for our picnic in nature. We will empty our saddlebags, spread our blankets and enjoy a sandwich or schiacciata stuffed with local products, accompanied by alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. A 'lunch with a view' like never before!
Once we have recharged our batteries, we will continue with the hike before returning to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 5 or 6 hours, depending on the period.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders may request to trot and/or gallop at the guide's discretion.

The experience takes place throughout the year and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
Itinerary and duration may vary depending on the period. In the autumn-winter period the experience generally lasts a total of 5 hours; in the spring-summer period the experience generally lasts a total of 6 hours.
Dogs are allowed: if accustomed they will follow the walk otherwise they will remain in the stable. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
