Nature. The horses. The Tuscan schiacciata.
These are the ingredients of our horseback ride in the province of Florence: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride in the splendid setting of the Chianti hills, dotted with cypresses and olive groves.
And at the end of the experience, the long-awaited moment: picnic with local products!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gambassi Terme (FI) . We will find the equestrian guide waiting for us, who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will proceed with the assignment of the horse. We will mount the horse, learn the basics of horse riding and all the useful information for a carefree experience. This part will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride inside the property, in a beautiful setting dotted with cypress and olive groves; a true immersion in Tuscan nature! Along the way, we will also enjoy panoramic views of the Chianti hills, as far as the mountains. One or more guides will lead the group on horseback and/or on foot according to the participants' needs; the walk will take place at pace. The horseback ride will last 1 hour or 1 ½ hours depending on the option selected.
We will then return to the meeting point where we will receive the necessary items for our picnic. The basket will be full of local products: bread or schiacciata, cold meats, cheese, vegetables in salad or pinzimonio, honey, jam and cantucci accompanied by water, 1 bottle of Chianti wine for every 2 people and Vin Santo. We will be placed in the olive grove, lavender field or any other natural setting within the property, enjoying the panoramic view of the Chianti hills!
The experience will last a total of 2 hours or 2 ½ hours depending on the option selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 3 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the meeting point. Children will ride ponies or horses according to their physical fitness at the guide's discretion.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. Experienced riders may request to practice other gaits at the guide's discretion.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

Dogs are allowed in the riding stables only if on the lead of accompanying persons who are not participating in the experience.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
